Workshops, instruction & clinics will run continually during the three-day event, providing attendees ample opportunity to interact with and learn from some of the country's leading authorities on paddling, equipment, safety, conservation, sailing, kayak surfing, fishing and more. Try out the latest boats from manufacturers on the demo beach.

Non-enthusiasts and kids will have plenty to distract them, as well. Yoga, games, silent auction, kite boarding and kayak surfing demos and races are also planned. Every evening ends with food, music and fun. Plus, event organizers are encouraging participation by local merchants, craftspeople and restaurateurs. The Splash is a celebration of Outer Banks culture as well as conservation and the outdoors lifestyle.
