I have some canoeing experience but never kayaked. I live by the sea and have this sudden urge now to kayak the numerous islands around here. So I am now looking for 2 used sea kayaks, beginner's model and since I live in Malaysia, I do not want to pay through my nose for the transport charges. I see there are lots for sale in the US. Are there any for sale within the Thailand, Japan area? I would also like any advice on what specific types / models I should get since there are so many variations. And if there are kayakers who would like to plan a trip in Malaysia, I can help with free accomodation in return for training, etc. Pls e.mail me
Zack

Try out an Eddyline Falcon 16. It is designed for intermediate
and above paddlers. However a determined beginner can quickly
grow into the boat. I am still learning with mine. If you can find a
used one you can get a good price. Have fun.

I am about to purchase my first kayak and hope someone can
give me some advice.
I am looking for something that can be used for recreational use
on lakes and also
on the Ocean. I am 5'6 135lbs. I am hoping to find something
that will last me
for awhile as my skill advances (I am a begginner). I was
thinking of maybe a
Dagger Baja or Necky Alsek or Tornak. I would really appreciate
any advice anyone
could give me or boats they could suggest! Thanks.
